1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using THELMA (available at meetthelma.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Handled, Inc..

2. Description of service

THELMA is an AI-powered household management assistant that helps you organize your schedule, manage tasks, plan meals, track family birthdays and events, and coordinate your household. The service includes a web application, SMS notifications (where opted in), and weekly email digests.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use THELMA. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement. THELMA is a tool for adults; it is not directed to children, and children do not create accounts or use the service directly. The service is intended for personal, household use only.

4. Household members and children's information

THELMA lets you add information about the people in your household, including your children and other dependents, so the service can help you manage your family's schedule and needs. This information is provided by you, the adult account holder — not collected from children.

By adding information about another person (including a child, partner, caregiver, or other contact), you represent and warrant that:

• You are the parent or legal guardian of any child whose information you add, or you otherwise have the authority and right to provide that information.
• You have the authority to provide information about any other adult or contact you add, and to share it with the household members and caregivers you grant access to.
• You will keep that information accurate and remove it when it is no longer appropriate to retain.
• You are responsible for what household members and caregivers you invite can see and do within your household.

5. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@meetthelma.com.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. SMS messaging

If you opt in to SMS notifications, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from THELMA at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency is up to 3 per day. Standard message and data rates apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for support. Consent to SMS is not a condition of using the service.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service.
• Use the service to transmit spam, harmful content, or malicious code.
• Share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without authorization.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the service in bulk.

8. AI-generated content

THELMA uses artificial intelligence to generate briefings, meal plans, task suggestions, and other content. This content is provided for convenience and informational purposes only. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of AI-generated content before acting on it. Handled, Inc. does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated output.

9. Intellectual property

The THELMA name, logo, design, and software are owned by Handled, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the data you input into the service. You grant Handled, Inc. a limited license to use your data solely to provide and improve the service.

10. Payment and subscription

Some features of THELMA may require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing details will be presented at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

11. Disclaimers

THELMA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content, including meal plans, task recommendations, or scheduling suggestions.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Handled, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will delete your data within 30 days of account closure.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
